This is the same delicious chicken as our whole birds, only Misty Knoll has readied the breasts for your grill or oven.
Enjoy within 5 days or freeze for later use.
Keep refrigerated at below 40 degrees for up to a week. Freeze if your plans change and you will not be cooking it within the week.
To thaw meat that has been frozen, place in a sealed bag in a bowl of cool water. Allow at least a day to thaw your poultry prior to cooking. Depending on the size and cut thawing times may vary.
Juicy, but not watery, tasty but not overpowering, this family farm has poultry raising and processing down to an art. The chickens are free to roam throughout spacious, specially designed chicken houses, with access to abundant feed, water and fresh air. As a result of this clean, stress-free environment, the birds are healthier and better tasting. These chickens are fed whole grains with no animal by products and are not treated with any antibiotics or added hormones.
Great product but I have a wish list for Misty Knoll - chicken cutlets - please ?! Yes, I know probably would increase the price and it's already high but so many recipes call for cutlets and the convenience option would be appreciated. (I have not had great success in slicing somewhat uniform cutlets from these breasts.) Thanks MK and FTU for this delicious chicken,
I've been buying this for years. Everyone I have served it to just raves about it. I've also been by the farm and it's absolutely bucolic.
One of our favorite items, this is great in crockpot with FTY veggies (including potatoes, carrots, rutabaga, celeriac, sweet potatoes, and more). If other family members were open to dark meat (as I am), we might try other cuts.
Absolutely the BEST!
The chicken breast has been great in my stir fry and chicken noodle soup!
We are ordering these fairly regularly and they have wonderful flavor and are so tender. All the chicken and turkey we have bought from Farmers to You has been excellent.
I have ordered these several times, and they are the most tender boneless breasts that I have ever cooked!
