Rich green broccoli florets, perfect for a stir fry or saute. This is a bag of side shoots, or florets, that grow after the main head has been harvested.

The edible portion of broccoli is the flower harvested in it's premature state. The broccoli head is a tight cluster of immature flowers on a thick stalk, if allowed to grow through it's lifecycle each bud opens to a small yellow edible flower. A member of the cabbage family, this vegetable is subtly sweet when cooked.
