How Our CSA Works

For 10 weeks, starting the first week of July, you’ll receive an assortment of delicious vegetables, fruits, herbs, dry beans, meats, eggs and exciting pantry items. You can expect at least 10 different items in your CSA bx. Each week will include at least one meat protein (ground beef, turkey sausage, etc.), and/or eggs. Some weeks there will be cheese. And each week you will enjoy a sampling of pantry items, such as Vermont maple syrup, honey-sweetened jam, locally grown herbal tea or local popcorn. Pantry items will not repeat, so you’ll enjoy lots of variety.

You get to select, and change as needed, if it will be delivered to your home or to the designated pickup site.

Sample Share Variety: Organic pasture-raised ground beef, aged cheddar, 1-2 heads organic lettuce, organic rainbow chard, organic potatoes, organic cucumbers, organic bunch carrots (greens included), organic onions, organic sweet potatoes, organic tomatoes, small-batch hot sauce, and an artisan mustard.

For busy parents, professionals and those who desire simplicity, after you complete your member profile (which takes less than 5 minutes), you’re good to go! There’s nothing else to do but receive your weekly CSA box and enjoy the season’s best harvest.

Frequently Asked Questions

CSA stands for Community Support Agriculture. When you purchase a CSA box, you are making a commitment to purchase fresh produce for a season. Your commitment means those farms can rely on your business throughout the season. In the CSA model, the customer pays for the share up front and they also share the risks (and rewards) of the season’s bounty.

For example, the risk might be that the broccoli crop may be small while the green bean crop thrives, so only as the season unfolds do we all know what we'll get to enjoy week to week.

You will receive ten (10) weekly CSA boxes including vegetables, fruits, herbs and dry beans plus some combination of meat, poultry, eggs and cheese.

A typical share may include organic pasture-raised ground beef, aged cheddar, 1-2 heads organic lettuce, organic rainbow chard, organic potatoes, organic cucumbers, organic bunch carrots (greens included), organic onions, organic sweet potatoes, organic tomatoes, small batch hot sauce, and an artisan mustard.

The program lasts for 12 weeks, starting the first week of July and ending in mid-September. You'll receive 10 CSA boxes and have two weeks to suspend just in case.

The program allows you to suspend (or skip) any 2 weeks during the CSA season. Simply suspend by Sunday night so that you don’t receive a share the next week; we’ve allowed 12 weeks for you to enjoy all 10 deliveries.

$499 today and $499 the week you get your first CSA box. Click here to view the CSA payment terms.

You can expect at least 10 different items in your delivery each week, and most of those items will be produce (vegetables, fruits and herbs). Each CSA box will also include at least one meat protein (ground beef, turkey sausage, etc.), and/or eggs. Some weeks there will cheese. And each week you will enjoy a sampling of pantry items such as Vermont maple syrup, honey-sweetened jam, locally grown herbal tea and perhaps some local popcorn. Pantry items will not repeat, meaning you'll receive a fun variety over the 10 weeks, and you get to sample lots of local foods.

The core delivery is fixed each week. You may add items to your weekly delivery by logging into our online store.
