Flourless, but certainly not flavorless, these are gooey and delicious.
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 t vanilla extract
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1/3 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350.
Prepare an 8"x8" pan with either butter or parchment paper.
Whisk together the cocoa powder, soda and salt.
Whisk together the peanut butter, egg, syrup, vanilla and sugar.
Mix the wet and the dry ingredients together, then pour into the prepared pan, using a scraper to spread the batter evenly into the corners.
Gently press the chocolate chips into the top.
Bake for 15 mins.
Allow to cool completely before cutting. Spending some time in the fridge will help these firm up, but this is definitely a fudgy brownie.
