This simple Indian flatbread is made fresh for most meals; here is the recipe used in Mother's Kitchen.
Ingredients:
2 cups white whole wheat flour
Warm water
1/2 tsp salt
Combine flour and salt in a large bowl
Add water slowly while stirring to make a soft dough.
Set aside 1 hour to rest
Once the dough has rested, heat frying pan over medium heat
Make golf ball-sized balls of dough and roll out to 1/8 in thick circles, useing extra flour to prevent sticking.
Cook in the dry pan for 1 - 2 minutes per side.
