Sweet and rich Boston Lettuce Heads grown organically by Foote Brook Farm in Johnson, Vermont. This is very similar to Bib Lettuce - buttery and tender.
Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
Wonderful - I like to use it as a wrap for sandwiches, in lieu of bread.
This head lettuce forms a loose head of light green wavy leaves that wrap similarly to cabbage in shape.
