Turmeric Roasted Cauliflower

This is an easy way to make a head of cauliflower a delicious showstopper.

Ingredients:

1 - 2 heads of cauliflower
5 T olive oil

2 T maple cider syrup
2 T soy sauce
2 T finely chopped fresh turmeric or 1 T ground turmeric or turmeric blend
2 cloves garlic, finely minced
pinch of peperoncini

Preheat oven to 375

Wash and trim the cauliflower, then turn over gently carve out as much of inside of the stem as you can.

Place the caulis top down in a roasting pan.

Mix together all the other ingredients, then pour half into the well you made in the stem.

Turn the cauliflower over, then spread the reas of the mixture over the head. Use a spatula or your fingers to cover the entire head and sides.

Cover loosely and bake for 45 minutes, or until the cauliflower is caramelized and easily pierced with a fork.
