Aqua ViTea's Kombucha brewery is located in Middlebury, VT. They brew in small batches using Green Mountain spring water, organic and fair-trade green and black tea, organic cane juice and superior leach-free fermenting vessels. The process begins with a very strong and sweet batch of tea. The brew is cooled and moved to the fermenting vessel where the Kombucha culture is added. After some time has passed and the culture has begun to transform the sweet tea into the ancient elixir, they begin to closely monitor the brew. Fermentation is stopped when the brew has reached the perfect balance of taste and medicinal value.

Gave this flavor a try because of the good reviews. It was just ok. I've had other flavors of Aqua ViTea kombucha before, and it's not my favorite brand. (To be fair, I've been making my own kombucha for 5 years, and GT's Enlightened is the only kombucha I usually purchase, mostly for the spirulina flavors.)

We got this in our order by accident and I let my 10yo try it, really because we're all bored and I was really hoping she'd have a reaction that would make me laugh. ;-) Well, no dice, SHE LOVED IT! So now it's part of our regular order. Happy accident. It's delicious.
I stopped with Kambucha because it tastes so rotten to me, but this one is incredible.
