Aqua ViTea Middlebury, VT

Farmer/Producer Website

Jeff Weaber and Dr. Katina Martin founded Aqua Vitea Kombucha in 2006 with the underlying mission to build a sustainable community that empowers people to be healthy. Jeff's background in brewing and Katina's training as a Naturopath and Acupuncturist led them to merge their passions to produce this tangy and delicious beneficial beverage. They meld ancient traditions, modern techniques, and precise scientific testing methods to create a Kombucha that is authentic - unpasteurized, undiluted, and non-alcoholic. Handcrafted in small batches, their Kombucha is brewed from a base of organic black tea, organic green tea, organic cane sugar, water, and a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast (often referred to as a SCOBY). Katina and Jeff strive to use only the most sustainable and highest quality ingredients, drawing on local sources whenever possible, and their Kombucha is wildly popular in Vermont.
Now located in Middlebury, Vermont, Aqua ViTea cultivates healthy, happy, connected communities through mindfully made and delightfully functional beverages. Aqua ViTea's Kombucha can be found in wine shops, grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants around the region, and is now available on tap in some locations.
