These tiny orange berries are very high in anti-oxidants and are tart and citrus-like, with notes of tropical fruits and apricot. Also known as sea-buckthorn, sandthorn, sallowthron or Siberian pineapple, these super little berries are vitamin-rich and also contain several omega oils.
Store in the freezer until ready to use.
Seaberries can be a little too tangy for some, so are commonly made into jams, baked, added to smoothies or juiced, where their high protein content can make the juice a little cloudy.
