Aromatic and sweet, these European Pears can be enjoyed when still firm, or allowed to ripen on the counter until soft, for a sweeter flavor.
Store in the refrigerator, or on the counter to encourage ripening.

Due to the challenges of our Northeast climate, organic certification of pears is incredibly difficult. Their pears are never sprayed; only in the flowering stage are the trees treated using Integrated Pest Management to cut down on the risk of scab. No chemical pesticides are used on the orchards.
