This loaf comes in a plastic bag sliced. Keeping it in the fridge will have it last longer, but usually it will last well for 4-5 days in the sealed bag.
We don't eat a lot of bread so this sliced loaf is perfect for keeping in the freezer to be able to pull out a few slices as we need them. They toast up well even straight from the freezer, and still taste better than any store-bought
This bread has more ingredients by far than anything else Red Hen makes, resulting in a rich array of textures and flavors. The seeds and course grains are soaked for improved digestibility, nutrition and enhanced flavor. The loaf is also long-fermented and naturally leavened. One try will have you hooked.
Red Hen's schedule means we need to order this bread by Saturday afternoon. If you rely on their bread, make sure it's in your cart on Saturday morning!
