Deliciously chewy whole wheat rolls, loaded with cinnamon and a tangy cream cheese glaze.

I ordered these cinnamon rolls because they are my favorite pastry, but I was out of town the day we got this order. My teen put them in the freezer, as I'd asked, but took no special care with them (didn't re-wrap or double freezer bag the tin.) 8 days later, I remembered they were in there and put the frozen cinnamon rolls (still in their tin in a bag) into the fridge to defrost. The next morning, I put in a 350 F oven for ~10 minutes to reheat them. They tasted pretty darn great! My (reheated) cinnamon rolls had a nice, moist texture and were not dry at all. I like the frosting on these, too, and I can be picky about that part. (I don't like a mall Cinnabon, for example, because I find an off flavor in the frosting.)
I enjoyed the maple and cinnamon aspects of these rolls, as well as the cream cheese frosting. However, they were not fresh and dried out when I opened them.
