Watermelon radishes are a colorful treat. They are beautifully colored and taste wonderfully refreshing; not too spicy, crisp and juicy.
Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
These radishes are a slightly larger variety. The exterior is white with light green shoulders, and the interior a deep pink. Mildy flavored with a hint of pepper they are delicious raw.
I got 2 radishes. One was mild and looked more like the one pictured- so very beautiful with a red interior and just a fine line of white on the outside- hence the name, watermelon radish.
The other was very red throughout, and was too spicy for me. I’m going to see if it loses a little spice if I roast it. The radish greens were delicious sautéed with mushrooms, butter and a splash of white balsamic. Definitely worth buying again!

These radishes are as delicious as they are beautiful. It's hard to find a more gorgeous addition to a salad or veggie plate. They pair so well with hummus, cream cheese, etc., and they add a nice crunch and bite to sandwiches. Love them.
