This yellow globe or storage onion is perfect for any dish. It has a complex flavor, much more so than the summer white onion.
These onions should be stored in a cool, dry, dark place.
Onions need to be kept weed free all season, and harvested on a dry day, taking care that the bulbs are not sunburned. They are then hung to dry, or stacked in wooden crates, with plenty of ventilation.
