Please meet the pretty Pinto Gold, our favorite new variety of potato. Only recently developed at the University of Maine, these piebald cuties have a distinct dappled appearance and deliciously buttery yellow flesh. As precious as their namesake pony!
Store in a cool, dark place.
Pinto Golds tend to be on the small side, so they are easy to prep for roasting, but they're a great-tasting potato for any use - boiling, pan frying, baking, mashing, or in salads - and they add a lovely pop of color, too.
