One of the most versatile vegetables of all times, Lacinata Kale is highly nutritious, with dark blue/green crinkled leaves. One of our favorites, this variety is very flavorful, with flat leaves that are more sweet and delicate than it's curly relative.
Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
My husband & I found this to be tougher than other kale. we are not sure how to cook it so that it is edible (perhaps good for stews or soups?). We found it very chewy.

Lacinato is an Italian variety that roughly translates to mean black. Although this kale isn't a true black in color, it is a dark, almost purple, green.
