Frozen Gluten Free Quattro Formaggi Lasagna

Valicenti's Quattro Formaggi Lasagna is made with their Red Gravy sauce, ricotta cheese, grana padano cheese, caciotta cheese, mozzarella, and fresh gluten free pasta.
Serves 4-6 people

Red Gravy, GF natural pasta sheets, roux (gf flour & butter), ricotta, grana padano, caciotta, mozzarella, nutmeg, white pepper, garlic, sea salt and onion powder Contains: eggs and milk
Storage Tips

Keep Frozen or refrigerated. Once thawed, enjoy within two days.

I'll start off that I generally love Valicenti pasta, and I love their sauces. I have had the lasagna Bolonaise in both the gluten free form as well as the regular pasta form. I loved the flavor, but both times, following their baking instructions to a T, resulted in gloppy rather than firm, layered texture. Again, though, great flavor. I twice emailed Valicenti and even called them, and got no response from my request to instructions as to how to do it better.

THIS lasagna uses the Red Gravy sauce, and the sauce is ordinarily my favorite red pasta sauce. But here, the flavors get buried under the cheeses and pasta, so that the flavor is relatively light. Add to that the again gloppy texture. Disappointing on this one. I'll continue to get the sauces and pasta individually, but I can't recommend this lasagna, personally.
