La Panciata is a family-owned and operated bakery located in Northfield, Vermont. They have been producing quality and delicious Italian-style bread since 1992 when original owners Glenn and Lori Loati brought their Italian roots to the Montpelier Farmers Market and began selling bread. The bakery has now been passed down to the next generation, Justin and Bonka Loati. La Panciata sources flour from Nitty Gritty Grain Company, among others, and is dedicated to supporting local growers and millers, as well as giving back to the community in an effort to help alleviate food insecurity.
