Kabocha Squashes are a Japanese winter squash that resemble a pumpkin and have a sweet, nutty flavor and smooth texture. They are most easily prepared by splitting and baking with butter and herbs.
Store in a cool, dry place.
It is both mild and sweet and will be a favorite with children with its wonderful color and smooth texture. The flesh is similar to Red Kuri Squash.
