The perfect salty-sweet nibbles!
Ingredients:
8 slices of bacon
16 dates
1/2 cup chevre
Preheat oven to 350.
Cut slices of bacon in half.
Slice open the dates and remove the pits.
Stuff each date with a spoonful of chevre, then wrap each one with a half slice of bacon and use a toothpick to secure.
Place on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
Take out the tray and use the toothpicks to turn each date on its side.
Bake for a further 3-5 minutes, then turn once more.
Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving.
