This is a bunch of green kohlrabi, which is as lovely as it tasty. A little-known, but fantastic, vegetable, these Kohlrabi are crisp, sweet and juicy with a mild spice similar to a broccoli stem or cabbage center.
Store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
Kohlrabi roughly translated from German is 'cabbage turnip,' aptly named for it's shape and flavor. These make an excellent addition to a summer meal. Expect to receive a bunch of 2 or 3 Kohlrabi per order.
