Sweet, juicy, almost creamy fresh local cantaloupe... what a treat.

Watery and fleshy, this wasn't exactly the melon we were hoping for. Gigantic. 5 pounds sounds about right. Tried to dress it with prociutto and feta and arugula, as the French do, but even then it couldn't really be saved. If you really like melon, shop at Wilson Farms. This was just bland and tasteless and not worth the price.
