This antibiotic and growth hormone free venison comes from red deer which are pastured in upstate New York.
Venison is leaner than beef with a rich, full flavor. Try it anywhere you use ground beef: tacos, ragu, casseroles or juicy burgers.
Keep refrigerated or frozen.
I made meatloaf with this. 2 parts venison and 1 part ground pork. In addition to bread crumbs, I used ground flax seeds. My dinner group spoke very highly of this meal. I will be getting more for future endeavors.
I was wary of venison but wanted something different and healthy. I used it in spaghetti sauce and loved that it wasn’t fatty like ground beef. There was a very slight difference in taste and texture but very good. I don’t usually like spaghetti meat sauces but this was a winner!
