Pasteurized Cow Milk
This cheddar cheese is a mild classic, perfectly salted and delicious on a sandwich, with crackers, on its own or melted into homemade mac & cheese.
We have had this cheddar and also the herb variety (rosemary, thyme, basil, marjoram). It's very soft and, for us, the tastes of cheese and of the herbs are not strong enough. Maybe we are losing taste buds in old age! Maybe more salt would bring out a stronger flavor.
This fine cheddar cheese is made from Sweet Rowen Farmstead's herd of grass fed Lineback cows.
