Champlain Orchards Northern Spy Apples - EcoApple Certified
The Northern Spy is a very late season heirloom variety that is once again becoming popular in New England. It is large, crisp, and juicy with a yellowish flesh.
Fresh apples are best stored in their plastic bag in the refrigerator.
It was treasured for generations because it remains remarkably fresh after long storage and can be enjoyed right through the spring. Bill and Andrea at Champlain Orchards are committed to ecological practices and are Eco-Apple certified. Due to challenges of our Northeast climate, they use Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and minimally spray their apples to manage pests in conjunction with natural methods.EcoApple® Certified

Crunchy even in the spring!

The quintessential pie apple: it holds its shape and a touch of firmness when baked instead of just turning into mush. Buy two bags, one for a pie and one to eat out of hand.
