Sebastian Corbat moved with his family from Argentina to the USA in 2012 to receive a life-saving bone marrow transplant. While in recovery, he realized that families in the area are always on the lookout for easy and healthy healthier food options. It was then that he and his wife, Angelica, thought that their traditional empanadas, made with quality ingredients, could be a solution. They both have fond memories of making empanadas with their families in childhood, and wanted to share this healthy, portable food with their new community.
From a table at a local farmer's market, to a cafe, and now into larger scale production, Sebastian has kept his focus on simple, healthy food that is easy to prepare, made with a focus on sustainable practices.
