Thought to have originated in Rhode Island in the late 1800s. Peck’s Pleasant is highly aromatic, with a tender flesh and rich flavor. Peck’s Pleasant starts as apple green, becoming bright yellow with ballerina pink blush, sometimes partly deepening to ruby. An exceptional keeper, Peck’s is like a fine wine that improves with keeping. We highly recommend storing them into deep winter and waiting for the taste to reveal itself. Harvest mid-late October.
Store apples in their bag in the refrigerator.
