This yellow globe onion is perfect for any dish. It has a complex flavor, much more so than the summer white onion.
These onions should be stored in a cool, dry, dark place.
So firm it jumps off the board while you chop it!
Very reliable, firm, juicy, and fresh. Some weeks we got mostly small onions, which are lovely boiled; some weeks big ones that fry well and go into stews, etc.

Onions need to be kept weed free all season, then they are harvested on a dry day, taking care that the bulbs are not sunburned. They are then hung to dry, or stacked in wooden crates, with plenty of ventilation.
