Milk from Strafford Creamery is not like supermarket milk. Sweet and full of flavor, 100% organic, and delivered to you in glass bottles.
This 2% milk is a lighter option, with the same outstanding taste as their full cream milk.
Strafford Organic Creamery dates their milk with Sell By dates (not Best By dates). Keep their milk in cold refrigeration, and it will last for 10-14 days after the Sell By date. Make sure your fridge temperature is below 40 degrees. Each hour milk is kept above that temperature takes a day off of its shelf life.
Milking 50 Guernseys, certified organic in 1997, and bottling on their own since 2001, Strafford Creamery is committed to sustainable agriculture and dairy without compromises.
Please rinse and return your bottle so it can be filled with more delicious milk!
I'm happy to have this milk. Guernseys were the first cows I ever milked as an apprentice for MOFGA, with my forehead resting on those warm flanks. Luxurious milk and in bottles again! Now that I know the shameful truth of what's happening to real dairy farms I will never go back to anything less. Thanks for your daily round of good work.
In a word, "Yummy!" Not as sweet as grocery store organic milk.
This milk tastes like whole milk. Worthy of every carrot.
I Feel as if Iv gone back in time!!! This Milk is what I had delivered to my house as a kid!!!
I love this milk. It's the only kind of milk that doesn't leave a weird coating in my throat when I drink it plain.
Excellent milk! We order the 2% every week. It is a joy to have such fresh milk and to get it in glass bottles that are returnable. And it is a joy to drink milk from cows who are well cared for and have been allowed to live a good life. Thank you Strafford Creamery!
We also love the taste of this milk! It tastes almost thick, it is so rich (though it is NOT thick...just delicious...). Just wish it came in a smaller size - this is too much for just the two of us!
This milk is so good (gotta love the glass bottles) that we bought a yogurt maker and yogurt starter from King Arthur Flour and have begun making our own maple-vanilla yogurt out of it. It comes out like the most delicate custard--not tangy at all, and unlike anything one would buy that has to be transported any distance. Spectacular.
