I have great regard for Red Hen Baking Co. so much so that we use to drive once in awhile to SRoyalton Vt from Boston MA to a Co-op there to buy their 100% Organic Rye. (a great organic bread they make.
I couldn’t wait to receive these seasonal organic “Hot Cross Buns!” and while I can get them locally made by a wonderful artisanal
bakery I was thrilled to be able to get organic ones from Rec Hen..
Don’t know if they were day old, or refrigerated, or maybe both. Either way if so or if not I would not order them again. I was not thrilled, sad to say with the exception of knowing they were organic. It was a disappointment .
Not great.
These come six to a bag, and probably will be eaten on the way home!
