Muesli

Winter weekday mornings are often a dark, grumpy rush; having meusli on hand can save the day. Muesli also makes delicious overnight oats, if you really only have time to grab a jar from the fridge.

Ingredients:

4 cups rolled oats (or half oats, half Ancient Grains cereal)
1 cup chopped dates
1/2 cup raisins (or half raisins, half cranberries)
1 cup sliced almondsĀ 
1 cup chopped walnuts or pepitas

Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl, then decant to bowls or a jar.

Serve topped with grated apple and warm maple milk.

Will keep for several weeks in a cool dark place.
