Last weekend something magical happened here in Vermont.
After seven years we have built our own regional food system – and farmers, families and Farmers To You Staff all deserve praise and gratitude for the commitment, work, and creativity it took. Come celebrate with us here in Vermont. The leaves are turning, the air is crisp and invigorating, we’re cooking up some amazing food (of course!), planning some spectacular farm visits, and so looking forward to seeing your family here where it all begins.
Welcome back everyone! It has been a quiet summer – but not as quiet as in the past. This is good news for all of us.
When we first conceived of Farmers To You, we knew that connecting you to your farmers via your weekly ordering and year-round food sourcing was a huge improvement over other options you had (especially in the Boston area). But we always knew that this was not the same as really meeting and seeing your farmers and food producers in the flesh. Well, the long-awaited opportunity is here. The next step in deepening our connection to each other and to our food is an event here in Vermont where Farmers To You families meet Farmers To You farmers to strengthen our real and lasting relationships and our commitments to each other.
