We actually mix the quart of chocolate with a quart of cream line whole milk and it's still special enough and sweet enough for my three kids. It's become an every other week treat for our family......gone in a couple of days!
I'm not sure if I have ever had better chocolate milk, frankly. The depth of chocolate and the milk's relative sweetness are just about perfect. My wife and I prefer dark chocolate. We love a great sipping chocolate (L.A. Burdick's is out of this world). Now this milk doesn't have the velvetiness in the mouth feel as a sipping chocolate (as that is literally chocolate melted down with a bit of milk, so that it tastes like you're drinking a melted chocolate bar). But there's a depth to the chocolate flavor, and it's not too sweet. Think semi-sweet chocolate, in fact.
It's still chocolate milk, but outside of a sipping chocolate (which, again, is just luscious in your mouth), I don't think I could conjur up a better one than this. Highly recommended, and I'll buy again.
It's like drinking melted ice cream, only lighter in texture and a little less sweet. If you like chocolate milk, this is the one to get.
possibly the best choc milk i've had, and i grew up on the quik junk and hersheys choco syrup stuff... both opf which i could never get quite right. This, while expensive, is perfect. Not too chocolatey, not too milky, and tastes fresh.... They should sell it in bigger bottles and bring down the price a bit, since its just shy under the cost of a 1/2 gallon of regular milk.
