These are chewy, and slightly tart, sweet morsels dipped in 70% dark chocolate, yum!

We tried these last week and they were delicious. The cherries were nice and tart and the chocolate wasn't too sweet. A great little treat.
Tierra Farms started out as an Organic vegetable farm near the Finger Lakes Region of New York, and when their customers started asking for nuts and dried fruit, it led them down a path where they quickly realized, as we did, that it was difficult to source organic, consciously grown and processed nuts and dried fruit, and that much of what is available at supermarkets is just poor quality, old or sourced unethically.

Over 70% of their electricity is generated from solar power on the farm; they only use sea salt and their packaging is at least 50% recycled. Both through their communications and relationships with growers, they are able to maintain very high levels of organic integrity as well as ensure fair business practices.
Tierra Farms is a peanut free facility, and they use no additional oils in roasting.
They also have a commitment to sell most of their product through food coops and independent grocery stores and are an employee owned and run company.
