Roasted Chickpeas

Roasted chickpeas are great to have on hand for adding protein and crunch to salads, or for a healthy snack.

Preheat oven to 400.

Rinse 2 cups of soaked and cooked chickpeas. Dry them a little by placing them in a clean kitchen towel and giving them a gentle rub. This may remove or loosen some skins; pick those out if you like.

In a bowl, whisk together:
1T oil
1t Turmeric Blend
1 1/2t Paprika
1/2t garlic powder
1/2t Summer Salt
Add the chickpeas to your bowl of spice mix and stir until they are evenly coated.
Pour out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for around 20-30 minutes, giving the pan a shake every 10 minutes or so.
Sprinle with a little more salt, add pepper to taste.
