We’re Vanessa and Casey, and we’re the two sisters behind Jaju Pierogi.
Sixty years ago, our Jaju (dziadziu, or grandfather) started a Polish food business with his brothers and sisters in Western Massachusetts—hand-crafting pierogi, golabki, and kielbasa for their community. Fast forward to the ‘90s and you’d find us spending our weekends cutting, stuffing, and sealing pierogi in the back kitchen alongside our elders.
Jaju Pierogi is thrilled to partner with the Polish American Heritage and Community Foundation of Boston to create the Scholarship for Polish-American Women, open to women of Polish descent of any age, residing in New England, and currently enrolled or planning on pursuing secondary education in the coming year (community college, trade school, undergraduate, graduate). As a 100% women-owned business, our top priority is supporting other women in their ambitions.
