Liberty Chocolate, located in Barre Vermont, crafts organic, dark chocolate using honey as its only sweetener. Founded by Katrina Coravos in 2011, Liberty Chocolate was purchased by owner operator Katie Mchue in 2017. Katie takes great pride in carefully sourcing high quality, ethically sourced ingredients. All Liberty chocolate bars are handmade in the factory/store in Barre, Vermont and hand poured by two people. It is a labor intensive process, but Katie says "the smell of melted chocolate and the look of smoothly poured bars setting on the racks makes for a very enjoyable place to work." Liberty Chocolates is committed to donating 50% of their net profits to charities promoting education, women in business, and other organizations that are dedicated to helping people achieve their dreams.
