Vermont Gluten Free makes gluten free breads, cookies, tea breads, sandwich buns, english muffins and other delicious baked goods.
Spurred by a diagnosis of Celiac disease, Jean Mudgett started this bakery when faced with the challenge of no longer being able to eat gluten. Determined to continue to enjoy some of her favorite foods- breads, a cookie or a slice of cake from time to time, she started to develop recipes that worked with her new dietary requirement. In 2019 Vermont Gluten Free was purchased by Chris Lacroix. He continues to use the recipes developed by Jean.
VGF has developed a custom flour mix, including their own freshly milled organic rice flour, to create the best gluten free bread, English Muffins, and more. Everything is made by hand in small batches in order to provide the highest quality and freshest product.
