This corn meal is whole grain and includes the germ, bran and endosperm. Never de-germinated, which gives it a richer taste and retains all of the original oils and nutrients from the grain. Most corn products are de-germinated for longer shelf life; Farmer Grown Flour keep the good stuff in the mix.
