Also call 'pie cherries' or 'tart cherries,' this Hungarian cherry is bright red, firm, and large with tart flesh. This variety is slightly sweeter than a classic sour cherry and is ideal for baking and jam.

Due to the challenges of our Northeast climate, organic certification of fruit is incredibly difficult. Their cherries are never sprayed; only in the flowering stage are the trees treated using Integrated Pest Management to cut down on the risk of scab. No chemical pesticides are used on the orchards.
