Champlain Orchards Keepsake Apple - EcoApple Certified
If you miss Honeycrisp, give Keepsake a try. It is one of the parents of the Honeycrisp and was born out of the University of Minnesota's breeding program in 1978.
Fresh apples are best stored in their plastic bag in the refrigerator.
It's a small, late season apple with an sweet syrup flavor, somewhat like sugar cane.
Bill and Andrea at Champlain Orchards are committed to ecological practices and are Eco-Apple certified. Due to challenges of our Northeast climate, they use Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and minimally spray their apples to manage pests in conjunction with natural methods.EcoApple® Certified

I got a bag in my last order. They're okay, but I wouldn't say I love them. They're crisp and a bit on the sweet side, ever so slightly tart. But the problem is their lack of level of or intensity of flavor. Their flavor is quite watered down relative to some of the more full flavored apples I have had.
So they're okay, but they are not fantastic.Unlike one of the other reviews, the ones I got are not "packed with flavor".

These apples are SO delicious! They are packed with flavor, sweet but also with a tang. Very crispy!
