Dress up that biscuit with some gravy, eggs and sweet potatoes!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground sausage or ground pork and add your favorite spices
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk, or more, depending on how thick you like your gravy
salt & pepper, to taste
Brown the sausage in your skillet or dutch oven until all of it is golden and tasty.
Sprinkle the flour into the pan and let that cook for a few minutes.
Gradually stir in the milk, starting with very little, to make a thick paste.
Mix throughly between every addition of milk, then bring to a simmer until thickened. For thinner gravy, add up to another half cup of milk.
Season generoualy with salt and pepper.
