Maple Roasted Turkey Breast

LINK TO RECIPE VIDEO COMING SOON!

A simple, beautiful centerpiece that celebrates Vermont flavor. This maple-butter roasted turkey breast is tender, golden, and full of rich herbal aroma, perfect for smaller gatherings or as an easy, make-ahead Thanksgiving main. It brings together the best of our local farms: Misty Knoll turkey, Ploughgate cultured butter, and pure maple syrup from Square Deal Farm.

INGREDIENTS
1 Misty Knoll boneless fresh turkey breast (approx. 2 lbs)
6 tablespoons Ploughgate cultured butter, softened
1 bunch poultry blend herbs, finely chopped together
Pinch of salt and pepper
1/3 cup Square Deal Farm maple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.
Rub the herb butter all over the turkey breast — top, bottom, and sides — ensuring an even coat.
Place the turkey in a roasting pan and bake uncovered for 1 hour.
After one hour, baste the turkey with the melted butter and drizzle with maple syrup.
Increase oven temperature to 400°F and bake for 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the center.
Transfer the turkey to a cutting board and cover loosely with foil. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

SERVING & NOTES
Serve warm with pan drippings spooned over each slice for a glossy finish. This recipe pairs beautifully with roasted root vegetables or our Sweet Potatoes with Maple Cider Glaze. For a crowd, double the recipe and roast two turkey breasts side by side, just extend the cook time slightly and baste often for that perfect maple caramelization.
