Brio Coffeeworks is a small, women-owned specialty coffee roastery, retail boutique and coffee bar in Burlington, Vermont’s beautiful South End Arts District. Founded by husband and wife team, Magda and Nate Van Dusen in 2014, Brio’s mission is to connect a community of coffee enthusiasts with one another and the people who grow, process, and roast each bean.
They are strong believers that community and sustainability go hand in hand. At origin, this means developing strong and lasting relationships with growers and growing communities that are based on mutual benefit and respect for the environment. Their sourcing focuses on coffees that are grown and traded in a socially and environmentally sustainable way, including those that are certified organic and Fair Trade. As often as they can, they buy directly from the coops and exporters that produce and process some of the world’s best coffees.
