Ambrosia means "dessert of the gods" and is believed to be a cross of a Jonagold and a Red Delicious. The creamy yellow flesh is crisp and juicy with a sweet flavor and low acidity.

I decided to give this a try. Normally, I love fuji and gala apples. The first one I had was decent, but I think the apples have sweetened in the fridge! They are so sweet now and crisp! Keeps really well in the fridge. A little pricey but I would splurge to get this once in a while.
