BOHO Chocolate, nestled in the heart of Florence, Massachusetts, is dedicated to the meticulous craft of producing premium quality stone-ground chocolate, utilizing organic cacao beans that are ethically sourced from small-scale farmers and cooperatives across South America and Madagascar.
Charles Burke, founder of BOHO Chocolate, began his chocolate journey over twenty-five years ago in a small New England shop. With a long-held dream to craft his own chocolate, Charles booked a flight to South America with a close friend. Their adventure led them to collaborate with the team at TAZA Chocolate, and together they delved into the heart of cocoa cultivation, visiting local farmers and cooperatives, and learning from the hands that nurture cocoa from soil to harvest. It was on this journey that Charles's vision came to life, and BOHO Chocolate was born—a testament to the craft, the community, and the love for chocolate that started in a small New England shop and found its spirit in the remote corners of South America.
