Flower Gap Farm and Creamery is a small goat farmstead owned by Margaret Aiken. Farming with Nigerain dwarf goats, the farm's focus is on qaulity, not quantity. As a result, the products are incredibly rich, slightly tangy, but mild, sweet and delicious. All products are packaged in repurposable glass jars.
Margaret's goats are rotationally grazed and have year-round pasture access as well as ample barn space.
Nigerian dwarf goats are not often used for goat dairy farming; smaller goats yield fewer pounds of milk per day than other breeds, but their milk has a high butterfat content—approximately 6-10% compared to the 2-6% common with other goat breeds.
