Blue Pepper Farm sits on 156 acres in the Adirondack Mountains, named for the 2 mutts (Blue and Pepper) who helped the Eaton family in their early days of sheep herding. The land has been farmed, on and off, for nearly 200 years. Improving soil and forage quality is an important part of the family's long term plan, and since 2013 there have already been huge improvements in the pastures, thanks to multi-species rotational grazing and nutrient cycling. Installation of a creamery in 2020 has led to the creation of incredible sheep's milk yogurt.
