Laughing Child Farm is an organic, solar-powered, purely sweet potato farm in Pawlet VT. Husband and wife Timothy and Brooke, and their gaggle of 4 girls, plant North Carolina-started slips in June, then weed, water and wait for the magic to happen under cover crops and soil. Each sweet potato is dug by hand, sorted, and packed by this family and their team. The joy they take in growing such a wonderful crop is infectious, and surely adds that little bit of extra sweetness to each delicious potato.
